Zach Fischer is a consulting actuary with the Milwaukee office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2012.
Experience
Zach’s area of expertise is property and casualty insurance, particularly in loss reserving and ratemaking / pricing.
He has expertise in numerous lines of business, including aerospace insurance, general liability, professional liability (physicians, hospitals, etc.), and workers’ compensation.
Zach has assisted clients with a number of assignments, including:
- Performing reserving analyses for commercial insurers, reinsurers, captive insurers, and self-insured entities
- Assisting in the preparation of Statements of Actuarial Opinion
- Performing prospective funding analyses
- Performing stochastic modeling
